Detention Center Workshops
Girls at Metro RYDC perform their plays
Each year, we conduct eight 2-day workshops at Regional Youth Detention
Centers (RYDC) in Georgia.
Our talented group of women artists spend two days with a group of
16-20 incarcerated teen girls.
Over the two days, the girls write, rehearse and perform short plays
about their life experiences.
Parents are invited to come to the performance in order
to connect with their daughters through this positive experience.
