After-school Program

In October, 2006 we began the pilot year of our new After-school program.
Two days each week for 8 weeks, our artists worked with 9 middle-school girls
to develop self confidence, proficiency with theatre skills and a strong
sense of ensemble through the use of use theatre techniques.
The program was held at the City of Atlanta J.D. Sims recreation center.
At the end of the program, there was a showing of the material the girls
created for friends, family and the community.
Plans are now in motion for a summer program and several concurrent
After-School Programs in the fall of 2007.
